Wine Country Cafe Pokolbin

If you are after a standard breakfast such as eggs, bacon and toast then this place does it fairly well. There's nothing overly special about the breakfast menu. We sat outside and it had a lovely view. Staff were very nice.

Called today to update Tourist information from Centre next door; looking for a late lunch, was astonished by the quality of food provided and the Service was excellent. Note the name change to "PK's on Pokolbin Cafe". Many a "Nomad" should call in and sample the foods available at reasonable prices. Ample parking available for all.

We stopped by for a drink and were impressed by the selection of high-quality craft beers and excellent wines on tap. The dishes being served to other tables looked delicious.

The food appears appetizing but tastes mediocre. We visited this restaurant a year ago and I couldn't locate my previous review.

After a day of wine tasting in Hunter Valley, we decided to spend the night in Cessnock. Unfortunately, there weren't many dining options near our motel, so we had to explore further.
