Dine under the elegant luxury of classical chandeliers at our Hatted Restaurant nestled in one of Australia's most scenic hinterlands. Located just a short walk away from the tree-lined driveway, Circa is Hunter Valley's most iconic restaurant set in a historic cottage on the beautiful Roscrea Estate. Offering a selection of exquisite Hunter Valley wines from an award-winning list, Circa also features the charming Champagne Lounge with a cozy open fire. Under Trent’s expert guidance, the restaurant has transitioned to providing two-course, three-course, and a five-course chef’s tasting menus. Signature dishes include Sesame Crusted Yellow Fin Tuna, Two Parts Duck, Wagyu MB rib eye for two, and a delectable Truffle Crème Brulee Foam. Circa truly embodies the ‘farm to fork’ philosophy, with guests overlooking the organic kitchen garden that supplies their ingredients. I booked this place because of the intrigue and to experience fine dining with my husband and that's exactly what we got! We sampled the 5-course tasting menu which was very sophisticated! We tried food that we would not normally have at home.The decor was alluring and the giant fireplace added to the charming atmosphere. We were served upon like stars.Why didn't I give you a 5? The tuna (first course) was not as fresh as I'm used to (but I'm a Pacific Islander so I'm very particular with fish) but everything else was worth tasting! We especially loved the quail and deconstructed dessert!Thank you!

Set among relaxing gardens the food here is second to none . The restaurant itself is magnificent with open fires in winter, private dining and an impressive main dining room . The food is just to die for. Beautifully prepared fresh and seasonal. An evening here is a meal to remember for years to come.

Amazing location and surroundings. So rustic and beautiful. The food and service were excellent. Would definitely go again. Highly recommend.

This has been the best restaurant we've visited in the Hunter Valley. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented, complemented by a highly knowledgeable staff. The entire experience was fantastic, and Koey and Andrea were both exceptional! We highly recommend Circa over Britannia, as we wouldn't categorize the latter as fine dining.

My husband and I eat out a lot and hands down this was the best meal we have ever had...it beats Aria Sydney evengreat staff,gorgeous wines and like I said best ever. I don't eat beetroot but thought I'd be adventurous jumbo quail and beetroot was to die for
