Located just a short walk away from the tree-lined driveway, Circa is Hunter Valley's most iconic restaurant set in a historic cottage on the beautiful Roscrea Estate. Offering a selection of exquisite Hunter Valley wines from an award-winning list, Circa also features the charming Champagne Lounge with a cozy open fire. Under Trent’s expert guidance, the restaurant has transitioned to providing two-course, three-course, and a five-course chef’s tasting menus. Signature dishes include Sesame Crusted Yellow Fin Tuna, Two Parts Duck, Wagyu MB rib eye for two, and a delectable Truffle Crème Brulee Foam. Circa truly embodies the ‘farm to fork’ philosophy, with guests overlooking the organic kitchen garden that supplies their ingredients. Creamy chorizo croquettes, whipped feta (Who knew? Whipping makes all the difference!), a perfectly poached gooey egg. I'm sold!
My partner and I came here for dinner last night for our anniversary. The food cannot be flawed, the wine is delicious and the service is even better. We were taken care of by Andre and we couldn't have asked for someone more friendly and helpful! Will definitely be recommending and revisiting!
This has been the best restaurant we've visited in the Hunter Valley. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented, complemented by a highly knowledgeable staff. The entire experience was fantastic, and Koey and Andrea were both exceptional! We highly recommend Circa over Britannia, as we wouldn't categorize the latter as fine dining.
My husband and I eat out a lot and hands down this was the best meal we have ever had...it beats Aria Sydney evengreat staff,gorgeous wines and like I said best ever. I don't eat beetroot but thought I'd be adventurous jumbo quail and beetroot was to die for
