The few times I've eaten at 1843, I've enjoyed the casual atmosphere and the casual food choices. I've enjoyed their dips and also their pizza offerings. The staff are friendly and the food very approachable. View all feedback.
What Cristobal Bergnaum doesn't like about 1843 Harvest Cafe:
We were not seated at a table even after waiting in line because the third person in our party had not arrived. It seemed that the restaurant prioritized profit over ensuring customer satisfaction. View all feedback.

This restaurant in Lille is definitely a must-visit in my opinion. They have everything you need to have a wonderful dining experience. Every dish I've tried there has been delicious.
My Welsh Rarebit was delicious. It had just the right amount of cheddar, not overpowering at all. I asked for it without ham and they were able to accommodate my request.

The 1843 Harvest Cafe is contained with the Lindeman’s Winery complex at Pokolbin. We have visited here before and enjoyed their offerings and this return visit did not disappoint. The restaurant specialises in gourmet pizza “planks or boards” and with 4 of us visiting we decided to order one of each of the 4 pizza varieties on the menu that day. The pizzas are thin crusted and had minimal topping. They were absolutely delicious. We accompanied the meal with a bottle of lower alcohol Sauvignon Blanc. Service was prompt (we were only people in the restaurant) and friendly. Our only minor misgiving was that, given the absence of any other customers, actually pouring the wine into each customers’ glass might have been a polite “good service” thing to do. Highly recommended for atmosphere and food quality.
