Large views, and meals have improved considerably, not to see a hint of Koleslaw Very busy on Mother's Day, but the staff was great to pump meals, hot and tasty. Able to sit down on picnic table as well. Nice staff, very fast service even on a busy day. Meals looked great to be served and used with vibrating tiles, easy to sit anywhere and get quick food when ready.
We recently had one of the best pub meals in a long time at this restaurant. The beer-battered fish was fresh, crispy, and cooked to perfection. The plump tiger shrimps dipped in beer batter were also delicious and crunchy. The chips were crispy and served with a small salad. The staff members were lovely and the view from the restaurant was fantastic. Highly recommended.
Two members of our group ordered fish and chips, one chose calamari, another had a burger, and one opted for surf and turf. The calamari was slightly overcooked, but overall the food was fantastic. Our meals arrived promptly, including the well-prepared steak. We would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.
Better than expected pub food. But in the absence of seats, they are a victim of their own success.
If you are a vegetarian and have checked the menu at this restaurant, you may be tempted to choose a different place as there are no vegetarian main dishes listed. However, if you ask the staff at the bar, they will discreetly provide you with a separate vegetarian menu that includes options such as a garden salad, a veggie burger, and a pizza. I opted for the veggie burger, which turned out to be surprisingly good. Made from lentils, the burger had a great texture and flavor, with beetroot, caramelized onion, tomato, lettuce, and sweet chilli mayo included. The bun was tasty and held together well. While the chips were average, the meal as a whole was not bad for $20. Although I may not recommend this restaurant to vegetarians, it is still possible to find a vegetarian option if you find yourself dining here with omnivore friends. Upon returning for a second dinner during a two-night stay at the attached caravan park, I tried the "pizza sub" from the vegetarian menu. The dish, which was essentially cheesy garlic bread with extra toppings like pineapple (not mentioned on the menu), seemed more fitting for a kids menu or as a shared appetizer. Overall, it was filling, inexpensive, and didn't taste unpleasant. Reviewing the menu further revealed that the lack of vegetarian options on the main menu may be due to the limited and seemingly unappealing choices available.
