If you’re in or near Point Pleasant you have to check this place out. I’ve been here a few times and the food is always great. Bar staff are very knowledgeable and the bourbon selection is second to none.
As a local to Point Pleasant my whole life, I understand it’s easy for many to want to stray outside of town to find a different experience. With Amendment here there’s no need. Incredible food, music and an option of drinks you are unable to find anywhere else. It’s truly a unique experience compared to anywhere I’ve been across the world. The staff is a family that welcomes all in, and an energy that is hard to come by. Amendment has something for everyone and there’s no reason not to come in for one.
I choose this place to meet a friend. The Menu online was very eclectic. The food was below average and over priced. Appetizers, we had were the garlic shrimp with chips, very small shrimp 8 total, I mean small! We also had the garlic parmasean wings, dry, over cooked lacked flavor. For dinner we both had the Pho, she had the shrimp Pho and I had the Steak Pho. Terrible. The music was way , way way to load. It is more of a local yocal crowd of younger Point Pleasent drunks. Don't go here. It's waste of your time and money, nothing special here unless you are a local, then this is the Taj Mahal to you.

Had an amazing experience. Place was packed and still got seated right away. The one girl “hostess” Mary she’s awesome. Took care of all tables with great service and politeness. Wings were amazing flavorful and crispy. Will definitely come again.

This restaurant has a fantastic beer selection! They always have my favorite local craft brews on tap, along with some hard-to-find options from out of state (Maine Brewery, anyone?). The food is delicious and more unique than your typical brew pub. They also have a great selection of whiskey and tequila, but I have yet to try them out on my visits.
My wife and I love this place. The food, bartenders, and waiters/waitresses are always excellent. However, the only reason I am not giving this a 5 star is the hostess(es). Their attitude(s) are terrible and snotty. Several times my wife and I have gone and they have given us an attitude about putting our name down to wait for a table. It’s almost as if they do not want us to wait. The most recent time, the conversation with the hostess and my wife was very weird, almost trying to deter us away to go somewhere else. We have no issue waiting however long the wait time is because of how much we love this place and the rest of the staff. The girls at the hostess stand need to change their attitude about people wanting to wait for a table. Otherwise, this restaurant is amazing with the best food and best staff. Highly recommend.
Small spot in downtown Point. Right in the heart of town with ample parking lots mere steps away. Fun atmosphere with lots of tables and a decent sized bar for the size. Windows open in the summer so you can sit outside or enjoy the weather from inside. Awesome tap list I've had some really great beers here I never thought I would get to try. Cocktail menu is fantastic and the bar tenders know how to mix a great drink. Food is small plates but tasty! Lots of TVs for sports and some great food specials during the week. Always a stop of mine when I'm in the area

It was quite waiting for an interior table, but it was worth it! The food was amazing, and the drinks were delicious! We will definitely come back!
Danielle was the best waitress ever! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks, super friendly and outgoing! She made my birthday so special and I will definitely ask for her whenever I am back! The food was great and the portions you get are huge, the food tasted as good as!
One of my favorite places to go with my friends! All servers and bartenders are super friendly and always make sure you take care of yourself. You have a few tables with the walkway, so it's really nice to sit outside on warmer days! I never had a bad meal or drink.
A “exclusive” flight of beer ordered. It cost $22. However, food is fantastic, especially vegetarian Pho. Overall, the review is worthwhile.
Fun atmosphere with solid beer and good selection. Right near the train station, so a quick stop if you're only visiting. Bartenders was super nice and professional, although busy they still made sure to get to everyone around us and no one had to wait longer than any other usual busy bar.

This is a great place to go when you are over 45 and how to be treated as anger from a bunch of snotty little brads that like them are too cool to work in the service industry. If you are an adult, avoid this crib as the plague
