I decided to visit this restaurant to try the carvery, and I wasn't disappointed. The food was really delicious! Not only was the meal enjoyable, but the staff was also welcoming and friendly. The ship was recommended by someone and we were not disappointed. the 241 meal offer is brilliant and eating was even better! would recommend to everyone to give the ship an attempt!

Their daily carveries are the best, ever. You have a choice of either/ or all of 3 meats, and veggie bake and a yorkshire pudding, and then you help yourself to a wide variety of vegetables like carrots, cauliflower and cheese, peas, Roast Poatoes, etc. And gravy. And mint/apple/mustard sauces. Senior citizens pay £5.50 Monday's to Saturday's, the younger folks pay £7.50. Sunday's are a bit more. Well worth every penny!
Visiting my parents for Christmas and took them out for lunch at the Ship's Tavern on thier recommendation. Happy to say food was great, service was good and the staff were excellent.
Used to go years ago but haven't been for a while, have to say that I took my partner there yesterday for dinner and had a burger and fries with salad and onion rings..omg very nice and fantastic value for money with their 2 for 1 offer well safe to say that I will return soon. So recommend for couples and families alike.
