The Lockdown Grill Function Room

They have made it a much more welcoming place . Although not transformed completely from the old Southway/Abbots way pub.. They have done enough to give it a really good feel. Everything was clean and social distancing rules were abided by. Staff were friendly and patient. They did all they could to make sure we enjoyed our meal there. The food itself was cooked to perfection. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be going back again soon.

Really good food, though they don't do table service which is understandable due to there only being 2 members of staff who were waiting tables anyways, which in turn made the queues fairly longer than what I imagine is average. (Pictured is the dirty southway burger)

Came for a drag show, honestly one of the best nights I've had in a long time. However there's no air conditioning in there which made it so hot! Though I do understand it was an abnormally hot day. Great acts booked, and I can't recall her name but either a local/owner sang before the main act and she was fantastic! Great voice and brilliant songs to get everyone involved. Would come again for what entertainment show you have next.

Still not quite finished when I visited but nice welcome and even nicer Guinness! The food was quick to arrive and on point (my steak was perfectly cooked and tender) served with a smile. A massive improvement and just what the area needed, I hope they get the local support they deserve for having the courage to undertake this venture in these times.
