Rise Grind - Plymouth

This restaurant is perfect for dining with family, friends, as a couple, or even by yourself for coffee and a delicious cake. The staff is fantastic, the food is incredible with a menu that changes frequently. The coffee is outstanding and the atmosphere is enjoyable both in the summer and when it's cold outside. I highly recommend this place for brunch, lunch, or just a coffee. In short, the ambiance here is top-notch.

I had a great time getting out of the wind, soaking up the sun, and admiring the Spanish Galleon while dining at this cafe. The owners are dedicated and working tirelessly to make it a success. Stop by and experience it for yourself.

Lovely afternoon tea for a baby shower. Friendly service, fantastic food and the ladies couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be returning!

Having discovered this place, I now find it very difficult to walk past. The staff always make me feel very welcome. On arrival I'm immediately provided with water and biscuits and they open a tab for me. They are human friendly too. The food is far superior to the much larger venues located nearby. Specific favourites are The cream Teas, the Harissa Baked Egg and the Salmon and Cream Cheese on gluten free toast..... Not to mention the gluten free carrot cake. Great coffee, good Wines and house cocktails make this a must place to eat and/or drink and one which I strongly recommend. The venue has recently fitted sliding glass doors which should now hopefully enable my human walking companions to be able to enjoy this place during the winter too. We discovered Rise and Grind while attending the Pirate Festival. There was a show happening outside, and our youngest child got involved, so we decided to grab a coffee. The coffee was delicious, of great quality. We then looked at the menu, which was very appealing. I ordered a French toast, cheesy beans, and poached egg combo for around £9, and the food was excellent quality. My wife had a berry granola that was also delicious and presented beautifully. The service was exceptional. The staff were attentive and quickly cleaned and prepared tables for the next guests. They paid great attention to detail.
