The staff at this restaurant were excellent and welcoming. Our waitress, Rebecca, was lovely and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious and flavorful. The roast was the best I've had in a long time, and the sticky toffee pudding was amazing. The location and setting were beautiful as well. View all feedback.
What Jamie Gregory doesn't like about Rhodes At The Dome:
My group of 12 went for afternoon tea and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The restaurant had lovely decor and an amazing view, but the service was very disappointing. We were not welcomed properly, tea was served late into our meal, and we had to ask for milk. Some of our water glasses were missing and one of the wooden shelves that the afternoon tea was served on had dust and fluff on top. Despite... View all feedback.
Went here for lunch as we wanted something other than fish and chips. The service from all the staff was polite and very friendly. The food was excellent. All in all I would definitely go back again.
Wonderful service from all the staff. Was lucky to get a window seat but this cannot be booked or reserved it’s just luck of the draw if you get one. Food was great with a nice range of options. Great views over the bay.
A shame that a beautifully located restaurant with lovely decor and great marketing does not live up to its advertising. Our steaks were considerably overcooked (I ordered rare and it was more like medium well), just about warm and the sauces were cold. The restaurant area was cold too another table even moved away from the AC unit and was questioned by a waiter who said “has she told you that you can move?!”. Sat for a long time with our plates at the end until we asked for the bill ourselves. It wasn’t particularly busy as it was a Wednesday evening. A poor experience for £28 steak each.
A stunning view wherever you sit. Food was amazing, second to none. All the food was homemade and delicious. The staff were spectacular. Polite, civil and they all had a great smile on their faces. I would definitely recommend visiting the Dome. It is no more costly than anywhere else but it is definitely far better food than I have eaten in a long, long time.
There is good and bad, 12 qualified patisserie chefs went for an afternoon tea to celebrate the end of our six hour synoptic level three exam, I can’t knock the food what we had was very good but the service was atrocious considering we were the only table in there on Monday afternoon, loads was forgotten we had to ask for including the milk and sugar for the tea and coffee they finally brought over, we never got our glass of champagne until we asked for it, then we all had to pass the champagne down the table like a school dinners! the wooden windows that contains the patisserie was cute but left them there even after we had finished eating from them so you had to chat to the person opposite you through a wooden slatted window which was a bit annoying and a bit ridiculous, so all in all, it just seems that they couldn’t be bothered to ensure you had a lovely time and if anything the atmosphere felt like you was a hindrance to them and they would’ve been happier if you hadn’t of turned up, this was not only the opinion of myself but quite a few of the others felt the same so go if you want and if you don’t get the right service make sure they know about it and I really hope they read this and make changes, because they really spoiled our celebration day and would not go back again!
