What Milly R doesn't like about Lucky Star:
The food at this restaurant is extremely unappetizing. The dishes are undercooked and the curry sauce lacks flavor, resembling more of an oil. While it may be budget-friendly, the low prices are a reflection of the poor quality. It's worth investing a few extra dollars for a better dining experience. View all feedback. You can always say that it is a real Chinese restaurant when it eats Chinese people there. this was a beautiful authentic Chinese meal, very nice family-run restaurant with huge portions of food to make reasonable trips. some of the diners served may not be served to western taste, but there are many well-known dishes also. a portion of rice and a noodle is enough for 4! so not over order. they can take away the rest... I have visited this restaurant a few times and the food is delicious and flavorful. The portions are generous. I recommend trying the special fried rice.

read moreThis Chinese restaurant has received mixed reviews, ranging from complaints about undercooked and tasteless dishes to praises for its authentic and generous portions. While some diners have reported raw chicken balls and unpleasant flavors, others have enjoyed the traditional Chinese cuisine served in large portions for reasonable prices. The restaurant's family-run atmosphere adds to its charm, although some dishes may not cater to Western tastes. Despite the negative feedback, there are still loyal customers who appreciate the authenticity of the food and the value it offers. It seems that whether or not this restaurant is worth a visit may depend on personal preferences and expectations.
