We arrived for a return visit to L'Himbert on the 26th February for my birthday and were bitterly disappointed to find that it had in fact CLOSED DOWN just the... read more We arrived for a return visit to L'Himbert on the 26th February for my birthday and were bitterly disappointed to find that it had in fact CLOSED DOWN just the week before!! We did manage to find another restaurant nearby which had just opened on...the 23rd which was OK but it was not in the same class as L'Himbert. We learned from them that L'Himbert had closed, they thought, due to possibly large overheads. Who knows. I just hope that someone can take it on again as it was really special, had great ambience and served great food.

We received a warm welcome on our arrival and we were soon sitting down to excellent...meals, and the café gourmand was very special.

We made a reservation, but it doesn't have to have done... read more We believe that this restaurant has moved from the village of Plurien, leaving this place without food. We made a reservation, but it doesn't have to have done because only a different table was in use. The waiter had a good command of English and was... helpful. We enjoyed Casselot and Merlu. Service was good and delicious. The premises have recently been renovated.

The food was typic... read more We had a party of 8 with two young children. The restaurant staff was very friendly....we had booked and had a nice table with lots of space. The food was typical French dishes, well presented and good value set menus. The young waiter with...his Pidgeon English and our Pidgeon Franzosen have ordered good fun and an adventure! Beloved some of the dishes, but typical in France, make sure that you request steak to be cooked to your taste like the French cooked. Starters and desserts fabulous with good choice of networks also. Would you go back definately if the next one in the area.
