We arrived for a return visit to L'Himbert on the 26th February for my birthday and were bitterly disappointed to find that it had in fact CLOSED DOWN just the... read more We arrived for a return visit to L'Himbert on the 26th February for my birthday and were bitterly disappointed to find that it had in fact CLOSED DOWN just the week before!! We did manage to find another restaurant nearby which had just opened on...the 23rd which was OK but it was not in the same class as L'Himbert. We learned from them that L'Himbert had closed, they thought, due to possibly large overheads. Who knows. I just hope that someone can take it on again as it was really special, had great ambience and served great food.

We made a reservation, but it doesn't have to have done because only a different table was in use. The waiter had a good command of English and was... helpful. We enjoyed Casselot and Merlu. Service was good and delicious. The premises have recently been renovated.

And what a stop,... read more We were looking for a place to eat, and stopped outside this brick builded house, with red lights outside.It was placed on it own on the road. And what a stop, we had a very great and tasty meal. 3 different courses which were all...very good. We would definitely come back
