Louis' On The Block - Plumstead

Cosy,homely restaurant with good service. Wine and pizza are delicious! I highly recommend The Bull Pizza:Flavourful and unique. I will definitely be back to try their steak and calamari.

Charming and cozy inside and full of locals; as this little restaurant is hidden away where no one would think about looking.<br/ <br/ I recommend booking as they're only open at night and it seems like they're always full.  Luckily we were accommodated without a booking, and I really cant criticize the service as it was perfect.<br/ <br/ All the meals were well priced and we enjoyed our steak and pizza, everything reminded us of home cooked goodness.   Therefore if you're feeling a bit to lazy tonight and don't feeling like cooking, I highly recommend popping in to Louis on the block.<br/ <br/ A side note, I would love to see this place open for lunch on the weekends.

Louis' food is always healthy, and wonderfully tasty. We enjoy the outside tables, as it's nice and sheltered.Some favourites are the bacon and blue cheese fillet, the calamari rings, and their veggie pizzas.I am also a huge fan of the chili poppers and the variations on traditional baked cheesecake. I am fairly certain my family thinks I don't go anywhere else, as we have taken family combinations there at least once a month this year.Louis in the Block has an early diners' special, with a variety of options.This place is really worth repeated visits.

Still one of the best steaks. Louis is a hidden gem. Top service, menu has a big selection. Food was outstanding.Price was very reasonable. If your ever in Bergvliet... Keep it up guys.

Really nice little spot in the burbs. I enjoyed the 200g sirloin but found the menu very strange. I'm not sure if they are a steak house or a pizza joint. There is only one cut of meat on the menu sirloin and only one size 200g. Bizarre! My wife had the same and we shared a creme Brulee for dessert which was also good. Service is a little slow...there's nothing worse than waiting to attract attention for the bill. Good meal overall so we'll give them another try!
