Absolutely unique small restaurant in Pittsburgh. I think they have the best submarine type sandwiches among other things in the city. Their outdoor tables are different, because it's a tiny restaurant. For six of us it was great eating outside. The restaurant is fast, convenient and the food is delicious and reasonable.
Peppi's is a Pittsburgh staple for sure. I have been a regular at the Western Ave. location since the 90's The staff are awesome people. They always make you feel welcome and treat you with respect. The menu has a lot of options to choose from. No matter what you order you will not be disappointed. The best sandwich you can get in Pittsburgh.
Place is always hopping. Awesome food. Just remember to bring cash, as they don't take card payments.
