Although we were early,the staff could not have made us more welcome,very friendly and nothing to much trouble.The food was first class,well presented and cooked to perfection.Friday is not a busy night,but any other day,I recommend that you book,you will not be disappointed.

We popped in for lunch on a Friday and the restaurant was busy. We were well received and shown to our seats. The waiter was happy to speak French or English and very apologetic because the fish dish was off the menu. We noticed a good deal on offer where we could have a three course meal with mineral water and a glass of wine for €14 per person. We settled for the parsnip soup with foie gras for starters and the canard pot de feu for mains. The parsnip soup was absolutely delicious and far exceeded our expectations given the price of the menu. It was definitely of a Michelin standard. The duck legs were served on top of large slices of carrots, onions and potatoes with a delicious mustard sauce. It was so good I used my dessert spoon to finish it off. The dessert was a little orange tart served with blueberries and a tasty fruit coulis. Yes this was a superb lunch but the price with wine and water makes it the gastronomic bargain of our year! Highly recommended!
