Lunch here on Saturday after overnight. a kind greeting from madame, who went politely in French when we were willing to speak the speeches. English is spoken when you hold. we enjoyed the 6 curs escapade gourmandises menu (do not think it is available in the week). we were served by a charming waitress who explained in French what cooked for us every cure. eating was delicious and attractive presented, service was impeccable. we went back two more paints with friends to lunch and each time we felt very welcome and enjoyed our meal. the weekday midday formula menu is not extensive, but this is a good example for a cook that makes a few things really good instead of many things not so good. pleuc sur lié (pronounced plerk) is a pleasant little town. parking is directly opposite l 'aromatic on the spot, but could be tricky Thursdays as it is market day. best to book. this restaurant would be highly recommended.
Visited with my wife and 2 friends after an established chef was recommended. although we were early, the staff could not have made us welcome, very friendly and nothing too much annoyed. eating was first class, well presented and cooked to perfection. Friday is not busy. night, but every other day, I recommend that they book, they will not be disappointed.
We visited as a party of four on holiday in the area. We were warmly welcomed and very well accomodated. The main lady serving us made a real effort to speak to us in English due to our lack of French language and this was much...appreciated. The food was out of this world and exceeded our expectations, it was also great value for money. We took our 1 year old daughter along with us and again felt the staff made a great effort to accomodate our daughter and make it a pleasant experience for us all. The only critique I have is that the atmosphere did feel quite formal for the daytime and it seemed quite popular with business workers on lunch. There was no baby changing facility in the toilet.
Very good quality food excellent value. Always fresh produce. Very welcoming proprietor, spacious modern restaurant.
This was a beautiful surprise, although I had heard that the front of the house staff was very friendly and informative. on Friday we moved to lunch and the restaurant was busy. we were well received and our sitting showed. the waiter was. happy to speak French or English and very apologetic because the fish dish was from the menu. We noticed a good offer where we could have a three cursor meal with mineral water and a glass wine for €14 per person. we have for the parsnip suppe with foie gras for starter and the canard pot de feu for net. the parsnip suppe was absolutely tasty and far exceeded our expectations given the price of the menu. it was definitiw from a Michelin standard. the ducks were served on large slices of carrots, wobbles and kartoffels with a delicious senf sauce. it was so good that I used my dessert spoon to finish it. the dessert was a small orange cake served with blueberries and a delicious fruit cook. yes, that was a super lunch, but the price with wine and water makes it a gastronomic snack of our year! highly recommended!
