Plimmerton Taj

This restaurant has improved over the years. It's a really nice place to be. Nice and cosy, ambient lighting and aesthetically pleasing Indian decor. I bought a mixed platter and chickpea curry and Naan. I was surprised how<br/ little it cost. They could easily raise the prices and I'd still come back for more.

We ordered two vegetarian dishes for lunch, the aloo gobi and dahl makhani. Only regret was that we didn't get more, shamelessly going back for dinner. Service was nice too.

We have eaten a lot of Indian food and this is the standard by which we judge others. We eat here every time we visit the Wellington area and both the service and food are consistently excellent. Worth the drive wherever one is staying in Wellington!

Authentic indian food. My partner and i have been here a couple of times. Growing up in Singapore, we love our spice. So we always ask for 'indian spicy ' for all the dishes we order.The ambience is nice, service is great and of course their food always satisfy our craving for something spicy.

I have been here a number of times. Originally I was sticking to the safe old butter chicken. However, last time me and my partner dined here I ventured out and got a lamb korma. This was delicious! I was nicely surprised and we had a beautiful birthday dinner. The service is great and friendly atmosphere. I try to dine here when it's not too busy as I like the sereneness of a quiet restuarant.
