I only recently added this restaurant to my rotation during Mexican food week. The burrito, as you can see in the photo, was not only flavorful but also quite substantial. The tortilla was grilled instead of steamed, which really added to the experience. If I could give one piece of advice, it would be to grill some greens and add them to the burrito for an extra touch! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Two Amigos:
When we arrived, the restaurant was not clean and it felt like the staff had just rolled out of bed to start their shifts. The food we ordered didn't taste good, which was surprising since they had opened a few years ago with better offerings. Additionally, it seemed like they were skimping on the ingredients. I ordered a wet burrito, and it was disappointing; the filling was bland and lacked seasoning. To make matters worse, I encountered an annoyed staff member during my visit. I did some research online and found out that there were 11 health violations reported at the time of my visit. Additionally, I noticed a fair number of flies in the kitchen area. I won't be returning to this restaurant, as it didn't seem very clean. I also observed that the grill area had flies landing on it, which I definitely should have noticed before placing my order.

Again and year for year, this place is only better. my usual is the lengua taco, but I recommend the ceviche tostada. it is delicious and has a tomato-based sauce as the standard calculation juice versions to put at most. really excellent taste! the service is so beautiful and it is really important to offer great food. it is worth traveling from sf to get my fill!
First off, prices on the menu clearly displayed DO NOT match the prices in the register. The ranchero burrito shows $11.25 and I got charged $12.50. When confronted, the guy says the register has the correct price. There was zero customer service regarding this. This is totally illegal! Further, there is a 3.5% non-cash charge but no where does it display that...all around not a good experience. I won 't be returning. The rice was hard and cold as well as the beans. I was in the area and wanted to try it but will stick to my usual place, El Cerrito Taqueria in Livermore.
