Had dinner here with a friend and was it amazing. The owner was nice and informative. We asked for a good wine and he recommended a nice Zinfandel. Appetizer we ordered Salmone Affumicato, wow perfectly paired with sliced pears. Dinner we ordered and shared Braised Lamb Shank with mixed veggies (carrot, asparagus green beans) and polenta. What renee collins doesn't like about Chianti's:
The food was delicious! I had the Ravioli, but had to substitute pesto due to a food allergy. Dad had the chicken Parmesan and my brother had the spaghetti with meatballs. Dessert was wonderful too!! A cozy restaurant with outstanding service. The food is also delicious and the owner or manager was funny and very helpful. One of the best Italian food I have had!! The food portions are very generous too. The tiramisu is excellent too.
An Absolutely amazing taste of Italy here in Pleasanton. The wait staff and the owner will greet you like you’re family. The service is amazing and only topped by the food. I had the squid ink pasta and my wife had the halibut. Both dishes were delicious!! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a truly authentic Italian meal
We took my daughter here for her birthday tonight and this is our new favorite restaurant. The food was AMAZING, and the service was the best we have ever experienced. We will definitely be back!
