This is a lovely South Indian restaurant that just opened five months ago in Pleasanton. What Kaylah Zieme doesn't like about Arusuvai Virunthu:
Stay away from this restaurant, I got stomach bug just with having one meal from this restaurant. Not worth it, the previous management was much better. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that are more clean and better managed. I think the 4 5 reviews is from the old brand restaurant that was in the same address before. I had an excellent dining experience here! I loved every dish we ordered. The rava dosa was incredibly thin and delicious! You absolutely have to try the pineapple kesari!
Incredible and authentic South Indian tiffins! The dosas and punugulu are a must-try. The prices are very reasonable, and I loved every bite!

The food was absolutely delicious, especially the spicy accompaniments on the side. The sambhar was among the best I've ever had, and both the mint chutney and coconut chutney were delightful as well. I requested strong filter coffee, and it was perfectly strong, served in a steel cup and saucer. The staff was very friendly and polite, and they even provided extra portions of sambhar and chutney. Overall, I'm very glad to have discovered this wonderful South Indian restaurant nearby.
The food. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. the host took the time to go through their vegan objects and order a brise. this was a few of the best Indian food I ever had and was very good price. I can't wait to go back!
It's a small place and the name board is not very catchy. But, the food is awesome! We had masala Dosa, Vada, tomato oothappam and rava dosa. It's hard to say which one we liked the most. It's owned by the main chef himself and you can make that difference in every dish. All the best for this startup!
