If you really want to have elevated Mexican food and a good drink or drinks. I would not hesitate to come back to Tzunun. I consider this place to be one of the top, if not the top Mexican restaurant in the bay. And that says a lot about me coming from San Diego. Because most Mexican restaurants here are just ok, I mean just OK. Ok, they are not that good. I'm glad I found this one. View all feedback.
What Lynnie1 doesn't like about Tzunun:
It was way WAY too loud in there! At one point we had to shout to hear each other. There weren't that many people in there as it was only 5:30 and it wasn't even 1/4 full, so it shouldn't have been that noisy. The food was good, not great. The margarita was great! View all feedback.
We were sitting on time with a friendly smile and curtesy. We have ordered two Margaritas and have been very disappointed with quality. Too much ice, in a whiskey glass. We both decided not to drink more than one. Food was exceptionally delicious, with a large portion of salmon and sides. Will be back for sure
The mushroom tacos are incredible! We ate on the deck outside by the creek and it was perfect. Our waiter was great and let us hang out for a long time since there were tables available. Can't wait to go back!
WOW! THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC. THE FOOD IS THE BEST AND THE PRESENTATION IS EVEN BETTER. THE WAIT STAFF IS ATTENTIVE AND HELPFUL. BEEN THERE THREE TIMES NOW AND HAVE BEEN TRYING DIFFERENT ITEMS ON THE MENU. THIS TIME LOBSTER TACOS! OMG!!! I NEED TO GO BACK FOR A SECOND HELPING OF THIS! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. DEFINITELY 5 STARS IN EVERY WAY!
