Well worth a visit for good traditional Vogtland food at decent prices. My elderly aunt could navigate the step and the WC was accessible for her initially why we chose this restaurant, but we would go back for the variety and the homecooked food! View all feedback.
What Katja Auer doesn't like about Matsch:
After a major hold up on the motorway we were late arriving for our booked table. The staff seemed a little brusque but the food was interestingly different as we tried the local potato pancake that we had not heard of before. Our request for...a second beer was refused as they decided we did not have enough time to drink it they were eager for us to leave as the table was booked for another group. I know it was our... Matsch is the oldest gaststaette in plauen, which was opened in 1503. I have eaten several times in musk, last in the month of mai, when we were able to sit outside in the beer garden courtyard, and on the beer garden terrace. eating is excellent, including some traditional Vogtland dishes, and non-regional escapes. No matter what the food is, it's always very good! a good selection of wine, beer and alcohol is also available. an indoor dining room is more traditional, and the other indoor dining room is more 20th century. I had never eaten in the beer garden, and this trip I had two dinners in the main courtyard and one on the beer garden terrace; and then breakfast in the inn at another day. the building complex was restored after reunification and both the beer garden hof and the terrace offer tables where you can keep quiet talks with friends while enjoying the culinary delights. the menu is extensive and the breakfast consists of a buffet that is extensive and very good. because of musk I also learned to read the signs more carefully, as on the outside of the gas house, mentioning it goethes trip to carlsbad, he drove through plumen, but did not stay with musk. I thought for years he had it. it is a total joy to eat here good food, good service and great ambiente to feed.
After a big stop on the carbahn we arrived late for our booked table. the staff seemed a little brusque, but eating was interestingly different than we tried the local potato pancakes, of which we had not heard before. our request. a second beer was rejected as they decided that we did not have enough time to drink it, they were eager for us to leave as the table was booked for another group. I know it was our fault for the late arrival, but it has made our opinion of the restaurant colored. I have no idea if they make desserts when we were expelled. that said it is an interesting restored old building and serves old traditional foods that they may not try elsewhere.
We visited the search for good beer and local cuisine and were not disappointed. However, the night we visited was very busy and we wounded sharing one table with another couple. if we ever go back, we will be a reservation in advance. we sat outside and the atmosphere was very nice.
The ordered food was served within 5-10 minutes after the ordering. This showed that only warmed up here. noodles were very dry on the top.drink prices are covered. aporolspray € 5,80 in other restaurants of plauen between 3€ and 4,50€,Agility in the hof is not suitable for staying longer.
Old, beautifully restored local. the biergarten very nice. service awake and fast, very friendly. selection of food and drinks very diverse. there everyone finds something to his taste.
