Close Harbour Seafood - PLANTSVILLE

My first time there. The paella and crab cakes were phenomenal and the staff was friendly and attentive. I recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing seafood and great service.

I was at close harbor before the fire and the food was excellent and it still is a great place to go right in town with fresh delicious seafood. This is a gem right here in town and you don't have to go down the shore to eat good seafood.

I've been there 3 times since they reopened and I just have to keep going back you got a craving once you eat something and there's nothing there that is an absolutely delicious the atmosphere is great the service is wonderful haven't tried the patio yet I very much recommend it

Went there for dinner last night and had an amazing time! Chef Dave does a wonderful job! All the food was delicious! We had tuna tartare, raw oysters, cooked oysters, diver scallops, halibut and a homemade seafood sausage stuffed tortellini that was amazing! I highly recommend going down- especially on a nice night where you can sit outside!

We eat there often, even before the new rebuild. We used to like to eat outdoors before the fire. The new restaurant and bar is very nice. Yesterday we both had the shrimp and grits and it was the best we've ever had, in fact we even told the chef when he came out, which is something we rarely do. In the summer Close Harbor has great lobsters. The is a great alternative to pizza,pasta, and Chinese and we highly recommend it.
