The boiling pots
Description
The restaurant in question has received a varied range of reviews from its patrons. While some have criticized the heavy sauce consistency and the lack of welcome when entering the establishment, others have praised the friendly staff and delicious food offerings. Some customers have expressed frustration with the policy regarding seating large parties, while others have commended the consistency and quality of the seafood dishes. The pricing has been a point of contention for some, with one reviewer noting the inclusion of a 20% tip in the total. Overall, it seems that the restaurant's service and food quality are a mixed bag, with some customers vowing to return for the great food and engaging atmosphere, while others have been put off by the service and policies in place.

This place is so consistent with their flavors for crab! I have been going to this place for years now and I?m happy their taste hasn?t changed. If anything their food tastes even better. I love that their sauce is rich and thick. I always get the 2lbs ofsnow crab and Cajun fries, which are so delicious. I even tried their catfish which was also delicious. They sure do give you alot of food. Absolutely love this place and I love to put people on to this gem.
I went with my family to this place. We were a group of 10, Saturday October 29 at 6:15pm and they won?t give us a table because we were a party of 10. They were rude, and when we asked for the manager before hearing us she said ?I heard everything? likeshe was about to fight us. It was our first time here because we heard the food was good, but honestly what?s the point ofhaving good food with horrible service. One they need to be train to speak better to their customer. Two let me remind youthat having customers is what makes a restaurant successful. Three work on your customer service and don?t be so lazy. You?rewelcome for the free pointers, you will never get our business. For customers Please be warn they don?t like to serve party of10 or more.
I got the 1lb boiled shrimp med heat and added 1/2 lb sausage. Consistency of sauce was too thick! These are whole shrimp meaning whole head, eyes and all.and not deveined!! It was not a good dish.
Delicious, delicious, amazing. Love this down to earth, no frills, chill to get messy place. By the pound seafood that comes in bags to your table with whatever flavor and spiciness you want. Been coming here for over 10 years and still love it.
I almost hesitate to write this review because if too many people find out, The Boiling Pots might become just like that other boiling spot—so crowded they don't even answer the phone. Honestly, I think The Boiling Pots is better. The price per pound might be a bit higher, but the lack of long waits, excellent service, and delicious food make it worth every penny. My wife and I have been coming here for years and absolutely love the shrimp. We no longer go for crawfish, as the shrimp offers better value per pound. We always get the sauce at the hottest level. I order a side of French bread with drawn butter, which I pour into the sauce bag and dip the bread in—definitely not diet-friendly! The heat level is just right for us, and the shrimp is consistently cooked perfectly. That’s been hit or miss at the other place. I’m not trying to knock the other spot—I love it too—but when I’m craving seafood, this is where I choose to come.
