This... read more The food was excellent, as it was the 2 previous times we went there.The issues we had were:They lost our order and it took over 20 minutes to correct it. This should have at the least generate a set of comped desserts, but it didn't.MThen they brought out a desert for our friends who were celebrating their anniversary. Unfortunately, they didn't ask what they'd like AND charged us for it.

We were seated in a corner on the patio, which was crowded and very hot; it might have been cooler sitting just outside the door. Since it was my 21st birthday, I was hoping for a special experience, but the service could have been more attentive and friendly. Overall, this isn’t somewhere I would choose for a birthday celebration.

If you aren’t an Aperol Spritz fan (too much fake orange flavor) then you should try Taverna’s fresh take on the popular cocktail. They add fresh fruit purée which is a huge improvement. The fritto misto is always a favorite starter and the homemade focaccia was delicious. We chose pasta for our mains and all of us were pleased (portions are large so no second plate for us). Tiramisu, lava cake and panna cotta were a great finish. Lovely birthday dinner with friends.
