Lima Taberna is an upscale Peruvian gem in the Metroplex with a cozy atmosphere and excellent food. The place is so beautiful and fancy but the food is very expensive for the portions that they give you, I ordered a plate with potato with avocado inside and taste horrible because the avocado was all black and taste horrible. I won't recommend this place.
The food is amazing. We went there a week and half ago on a Saturday night. Service left a lot to be desired but really the LOUD, live singer really detracted. We were sitting on the same side of the booth and still couldn’t hear each other. Our bill (for the two of us) had an automatic gratuity of 22% and I thought the service wasn’t great. Would eat their food as take out for sure but won’t dine in again.
One of the best ceviche I’ve ever tried!!! The maracuya pisco sour was also really good and the flan hit the right spot! 100% recommend!
A little pricey for Plano area food. Empanadas were great! Leche de Tigre is off menu :p. Pescado a lo macho was rich and flavourful but may be too intense for some in one sitting. Best to come with a friend and share your portions. My friend's steakwas a little more done than expected though, but still good.
Absolutely Amazing. The Food is so Fresh and So Flavorful. Beautiful Interior as well. Our Server and Manager James were beyond Amazing. I will certainly be coming back and bring more Guest!!
