A simple thought of offering dishes to the table rather than buffet style, highlights the real gratitude offered to its consumers.

We were served rice and... read more This was my first time I experienced such a poor service at Kumar's. Not sure if it was because the waiters were new and under training. We were served rice and had to wait atleast 5-6 mins before curry was served. And this happened thrice on the same lunch!!! On the third occasion, we were served rice and the waiter went back to get curries. But after 3-4 mins, he came back with the plate of appalams; and then he had to go back again to get the curries. This time, my patience was tested and I had to shout at him. I do understand that Sunday afternoons are terribly busy at Kumar's, but this kind of service was totally unacceptable! I would suggest that Kumar's have the adequate no. of staff and the experienced ones, atleast on the days which are extremely busy so as to cater for the demand and pressure. Thank you.

The wait staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a friends birthday, so we had a cake to cut and they set it up and brought it to the table with candles, plates and napkins. The food was excellent too, enjoyed the various curies. I wish there was more vegetable sides.
