We were served rice and... read more This was my first time I experienced such a poor service at Kumar's. Not sure if it was because the waiters were new and under training. We were served rice and had to wait atleast 5-6 mins before curry was served. And this happened thrice on the same lunch!!! On the third occasion, we were served rice and the waiter went back to get curries. But after 3-4 mins, he came back with the plate of appalams; and then he had to go back again to get the curries. This time, my patience was tested and I had to shout at him. I do understand that Sunday afternoons are terribly busy at Kumar's, but this kind of service was totally unacceptable! I would suggest that Kumar's have the adequate no. of staff and the experienced ones, atleast on the days which are extremely busy so as to cater for the demand and pressure. Thank you.

Offering smaller portions for the side entrees would allow customers to sample a variety of dishes without having to order a large number. Typically, it's just one or two standout dishes that encourage people to return, so it's essential to make sure those dishes are truly exceptional.
