**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag Experience**
Nestled in a bustling strip, this café offers a diverse menu that leans heavily on sandwiches, salads, and a rotating selection of coffees and light fare. Diners have praised the flavorful Anaheim Panini and fluffy pancakes, while vegetarian options like the Tuscan grilled cheese and tomato basil soup appeal to health-conscious patrons. However, inconsistency in service, with moments of sullen interaction and unkempt surroundings, detracts from the overall atmosphere. While some enjoy the cozy environment and affordable prices, questionable food safety practices, such as a bug found in a salad, raise concerns. Improvements are necessary to elevate this dining experience.

I had a wonderful experience here yesterday. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was cozy, and the food was delicious. There were plenty of options for vegetarians. I will definitely return with my family. Vegetarian options include Tuscan grilled cheese, a tomato mozzarella sandwich, and tomato basil soup.
Service without a smile naturally leading to an incorrect order for a basic pastry was surprising since it occurred when I was the only one in the queue. Neither the croissant nor the cake had the morning fresh variety. I don 't want to speculate on the reasons but the experience was unexpected. Uncharacteristically, the coffee was served in to-go cups for a dine-in customer without even a courtesy inquiry. The entrance was unclean perhaps owing to earlier traffic in the morning but nevertheless immediately I had a negative connotation about the standards.Certainly not an inviting place considering that other (and more recent) places exist in the same strip and the intersection as a whole.Dietary restrictions: No ingredients list to guide anyone on allergens.
NUT ALLERGIES BEWARE the workers at this location do not understand that almonds are NUTS!!!!! Furthermore, they will make menu items as they wish, without regard to stated menu. Apple banana overnight oats do not list almonds, however, they continuously add almonds. When we ordered, we specifically said no nuts as we know they have this problem, and yet, oatmeal came with almonds. When brought to their attention, worker rolled her eyes and tried to argue there were no nuts, despite almonds being sprinkled on top. Please educate your staff before you have someone die from a severe allergic reaction in your restaurant.
It’s an older location, so it’s quaint and cozy, but could be updated. It would just feel cleaner.
Even tho' the order taker was sullen, the Anaheim Panini was really good. But when I went for a coffee refill 3 of the 4 coffee dispensers were empty. (11:30am) I mentoned it to the order taker, who snarkily told me he was working alone and was busy with customers in line. As tho it was my fault, somehow.
