Was Everett Schowalter at Brix Grill a mag?
Nice place. First time visiting as a new customer. I’ll definitely come back as a dining option in downtown Plano. The Caesar salad I ordered was great and I would order it again. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu next time. View all feedback.
What Jeanne Vermeulen dislikes about Brix Grill:
This place used to be great. If you enjoy a dim, smoky dive bar atmosphere, this is the spot for you. However, the food has gone downhill, and the service is just average. View all feedback.

First experience wasn't great. Waiter was rude to begin and then denied that they had happy hour drinks. After I pointed out the 5 or 6 signs in bar that I could easily see from my seat that listed happy hour drinks he said he would talk with manager. Hecame back and acknowledged that they did have a happy hour. After the initial hiccup, we gave it another go. It was not bad,but I wouldn't rate more than 3 stars based upon initial experience. They did include a drink on my bill that I didn't order, but took it off once I pointed it out. Wonder if this was a simple honest mistake, but I'll give the benefit of the doubt.
Nice spot. New customer. Will go again as an option for downtown Plano dining. Ordered Caesar salad, would order again. Want to try other menu items, so will go back.
I don't really like hanging out or eating there but I often get their chicken wings and side salad for takeout and they're great.

I’m not a big fan of dining in, but I often order her chicken wings and side salad for takeout, and they’re excellent.
Brix Grill's menu features a delightful potato soup and generously sized Wagyu hot dogs.
My first visit to Brix Grill wasn’t great. The waiter was rude from the beginning and initially refused to serve happy hour drinks. After I pointed out the happy hour specials, clearly visible from my seat, he said he needed to check with the manager. When he came back, he acknowledged that happy hour was indeed available. Despite this rough start, we decided to give the restaurant another chance. Overall, the experience wasn’t bad, but based on that initial interaction, I wouldn’t rate it higher than 3 stars. Also, there was a drink on my bill that I hadn’t ordered, but they promptly removed it once I mentioned it. I’m hoping it was just an honest mistake, so I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt.
