The Purple Rooster Cafe - Plainville

The Purple Rooster is a cozy, warm and welcoming place to chat and take some great food! The gluten-free and non-glue-free menu items are also delicious. I've been 3 times and every time I had a fantastic gluten-free meal. Delicious gluten-free breakfast items are hard to come when I go to dinner. This is my place now. Diana did it right! Perfect. The gluten-free pancakes, French toast, muffins and cupcakes are all super moist, have a wonderful smooth texture and are very delicious. She makes magic in her kitchen. The staff is friendly and helpful. Conversations with the owner, Diana are always warm, friendly and what I love to talk about all things food! Happy 5 years! I look forward to seeing you grow and being a loyal customer.

I finally have the chance to go to the purple Rooster Cafe. It was so great to be able to enjoy delicious food without having to worry about my many food problems! It's so hard to eat if you have so many restrictions. It was also a great place for my children!

Love this place! Food is great. They are beyond the intake for those with food needs. I am gluten-free, milk-free and vegetarian to go somewhere eating is always a challenge, but not here.

Service was attentive and well maintained. So pleased to find a restaurant that had a whole vegan breakfast menu in addition to its regular menu. It was delicious.

My cousin and I visited today (12/30/16) for lunch for our first time and we will definitely be back. Great food, good coffee, relaxed atmosphere.. Their gluten free menu was extensive with everything from pancakes to grilled cheese and pizza. Many more options then I'm used to being gluten free, it was hard to choose.. Ended up going with potato pancakes which were amazing. Very easy to give this place a 10/10 and I can't wait to go back
