Discovered this wonderful truck the LI Vegan Pop Up in Levittown on a Sunday, but ever other day they are in Plainview near the hospital. These people are truly special their food is even more so! They do have a of dishes for those who eat meat but I'm here to tell you that for me it's all about being meat free! It continues to amaze me that every single historically ethnic cuisine has some version of grains beans as it's mainstay therefore is historically vegan! It's the spicing that MAKES it special while I have never had Egyptian before I now am addicted! You simply can not miss ordering from this truck w'their regular location the top of the Old Country Rd. exit on the 135/Seaford/Oyster Bay Ex'way N. bound they could not be more centrally located! The married couple responsible for this exciting addition to food on Long Island simply could not be nicer along w'fine taste their dishes are generously sized judiciously priced...you will look forward to your next visit B4 you have finished your first meal! They are very patient w'questions regarding unfamiliar names of the dishes their descriptions are very helpful in ordering. It's a pleasure to shop local here!

My daughter had my husbands birthday catered by Aubergine food truck we had more than 70 people and I must say their food was amazing. The service was outstanding and anyone wanting to try authentic Egyptian cooking should try the owners of Aubergine food truck. I have never had such delicious Egyptian food except for my husbands family and in Egypt.I can’t wait till they open up a business in Huntington or Melville where one can sit down and enjoy the atmosphere and hospitality of Egyptians. There is nothing negative to say everything they cook is so delicious.

My daughter had my husbands 70th birthday catered and she ordered koshery, makarona, bedingan, patatas pirae, gulesh, shewerma and more. I have to say their food was excellent, service excellent. We had absolutely no left overs. Everyone raved how delicious the food was. For anyone wanting to try authentic Egyptian food this is the place to go. This husband and wife who own this business know how to cater to the people. Amazing is all I can say !!!!
