This restaurant is amazing, featuring friendly staff and delicious food! The pizza was definitely superior to what I've had at Longo's. However, I was a little disappointed by the limited selection of non-alcoholic drinks for diabetics. I had to settle for water, although they do offer sugar-free tea with sweetener options, which was a nice touch. It would be great to have more drink choices besides just tea. Overall... What User dislikes about Mr. Z's:
We loved this place and we’re so disappointed to see the menu is stripped down to nothing. It’s now just your standard town pizza place. Husband and I went to celebrate some good news and get their Steak Gorgonzola penne but it is no longer on the menu. The food options were limited and nothing had a description except pizza. There is no love in the food anymore and it shows. This place used to have a crazy wait on w... View all feedback.

I hosted my husband's retirement party here on May 29, 2022, and it was wonderful! The food was delicious, and the servers were friendly and courteous. It was a truly beautiful experience! A special thanks to Chelsea and Lynn for coordinating the entire event. I was so impressed with everything you did!
I'm not one to speak negatively about a restaurant, but my experience with the bartender really left a sour impression. While I was waiting for my takeout order, I decided to enjoy a beer or two. The bar was fully occupied, so I stepped to the side to wait. After a few moments of being met with glares, she finally approached me with a condescending attitude. I felt treated like a second-class citizen as she rushed me along. Normally, I wouldn't think much of it, but as I sat there finishing my beer, I couldn't help but notice how she was friendly and welcoming to everyone else at the bar. It felt like a complete Jekyll and Hyde situation. The rest of the place seemed nice and would have been a great spot to visit regularly.

Husband and I went to celebrate some good news and get their Steak Gorgonzola penne but it is no longer on the menu. The food options were limited and nothing had a description except pizza. There is no love in the food anymore and it shows. This place used to have a crazy wait on weekends and we walked in on a Friday night with no wait and dozens of open tables. If they don’t bring back some of the old menu I don’t think they’ll make it. The service and our waitress were amazing at least!
Food is good but nothing to rave about. Servers seem green and a bit confused. Not a bad place to stop and get some slop
Was a great visit. A reasonably basic menu but food was well made and fast. Tasty dishes all around. Will be returning.
Patrons of this Italian restaurant have had a diverse range of experiences, highlighting a significant shift in the menu and service dynamics. Once celebrated for its extensive offerings, including favorites like Steak Gorgonzola and shrimp dishes, the menu has recently been streamlined to more standard fare, disappointing longtime customers. While some diners rave about the generous portions and delectable dishes like chicken francese and meat lasagna, others lament the loss of variety and the inconsistency in service, especially at the bar. Despite the criticisms, many still appreciate the friendly staff and inviting atmosphere, making it a spot worth considering.

The good is great! They have a lunch menu for $10.00 and under and it includes Baked Salmon, pepperoni pizza, a grinder and soup, etc. Its been recently painted which is a big plus because it was very dark inside before , it is cold though. In the summer its extremely cold in the lounge, and so far this season its still cold no matter where you sit. But all in all , the wait staff is great, and the food is great! Handicapped parking, Handicapped accessible, and there are rest rooms. The place looks terrific! A place to bring your entire family!
The service is always good. Food is okay. Nothing special.
I wish I could give this restaurant more than five stars! The bread, Caesar salad, and drinks were absolutely amazing. The chicken Parmesan portion was massive—enough to last for four meals! The fruity DeMar with Moné sauce was truly delightful. The scallops and shrimp were cooked perfectly. The little neck clams were a bit chewy, which is often the case when they're cooked. Our server, Haley, was outstanding!
We visit this restaurant regularly and often order takeout several times a week. We truly love it! The food is amazing, and there are many gluten-free options to choose from.
The food here is amazing and always fresh. I usually get takeout, so I can't comment on the dining experience inside the restaurant.

Love the food. Wish we could order more often. Would probably order from them 4x a week if they offered delivery because we love the salads and the entrees too. but I work all night and lunch time is like the middle of the night to me so driving is out ofthe question. Regardless I definitely would recommend trying the food.
Located just off Rte 395 Exit 28, we stopped in after a day at Mohegan Sun. Unassuming decor but comfortable. It looked like they were very busy with takeout orders. We were seated promptly. I ordered the meat lasagna while my wife ordered chickencarbonara. The food came out quickly and the first thing you notice is the portion size, generous is an understatement. Bothdishes were delicious in a comfort food way. We took about half of each home. Service was great and friendly.
We had an incredible experience at the restaurant! Our waiter was excellent, and the ambiance was fantastic. The warm rolls were an excellent way to kick off our meal. The food was both delicious and full of flavor. We definitely intend to return to sample more of the numerous options available.
Absolutely the best food in town, whether you opt for takeout or dine-in. The meals are consistently outstanding, and they always have a great selection of desserts. The atmosphere is perfect for families.
I was introduced to this restaurant by my sister and have visited a couple of times. The first time, I ordered the sirloin steak with potatoes, but it was not cooked to medium rare and didn’t have much flavor. On my second visit, I chose the Shrimp and Scallops Mornay over Angel Hair Pasta, which was quite good and has become my favorite dish whenever I dine with my sister. The staff is friendly, although the martinis are just average.
