I had picked up a birthday cake for my daughter's 6th birthday party and I was blown away because the cake was absolutely gorgeous! The reason we chose Joy's is because we had their cupcakes in the past and they are AMAZING! Unfortunately, the cake was an E-X-T-R-E-M-E disappointment! We ordered half white/chocolate. The cake was more like 80% chocolate to 20% white. The cake was EXTREMELY DRY! None of the adults at the birthday party could even finish the cake, it was THAT DRY! We all felt like the cake had been frozen before because it was so dried out. The top section of the white was a much darker color like it maybe was overcooked?I had called and left a message with Joy's bakery with our concerns but they never called me back.Honestly save your money and go to Meijer or Walmart and buy a fresh cake! Don't make the mistake thinking the cupcakes at Joy's are the same as the cake or you will be extremely disappointed.

We picked up a couple gluten free Chocolate and Vanilla cupcakes and my guest who needed them said they really tasty! Probably the best GF cupcakes she’s ever had. The staff was very friendly. Thank you so much for all your help—I will forever make the 40 minute drive from Cloverdale to pick up cakes from Joy’s.

Coffee is delicious and Super friendly staff. Great place to get cupcakes if you are in the mood for something sweet or needing to pick up for a special occasion. I highly recommend this little gem. She also makes cakes for special occasions!!
