We had not visited for years until I came back to see family. Still the best Mexican food, better than any Central Cal restaurant we have tried. And hands down still the best mole I have ever had. Very reasonable. A lot of kitsch, but aside from the booths clothed on butterscotch color (used to be red), the place hasn't changed since the late 1960's when our family would come on Friday nights. This charming restaurant features a jukebox playing music by Mexican artists like Vicente Fernandez, Tucanes de Tijuana, and Ramon Ayala. The decor gives off a nostalgic vibe from the 80s. The food is delicious, tasting as though it was prepared by your favorite Mexican relative. The air conditioning was a welcome relief on a hot day. I would highly recommend this spot for a relaxing yet affordable meal.

I absolutely adore this restaurant, their traditional Mexican dishes are incredibly delicious. It's the best Mexican cuisine you can find in the area.
Great prices, service, and ambiance. Free chips, salsa, guac, and pickled carrots. Will be back!!
Authentic Mexican food with a great flare. Super friendly, awesome chips and salsa. My favorite is the green pork burrito, wet so yummy and the beans are amazing.
