Southern Comfort - Pittsfield

I absolutely love this restaurant! It was such a fantastic little spot when it was open. I'm not sure if it's still in operation, as I haven't seen it with the lights on for a while. But when it was running, it offered excellent food at reasonable prices. The menu usually changed, but there were a few items that you had to call ahead to order. They also provided delivery, and I never had any issues with my food arriving hot! The portions were generous, and the prices were great! I really hope they return next summer! If they do, definitely try the Rasta Pasta and salmon!

The staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely cares about both their food and customer service! Let’s not even get started on the food – it’s so delicious that it’ll make you want to slap your mom twice! It tastes like your grandma is in the kitchen making her Sunday best! So take it from your favorite twins: you’ve got to check this place out! And let me know what you think!

I ordered delivery from here tonight, and the fried chicken and fish were amazing. The macaroni and cheese and collard greens reminded me of my mother's cooking. Fantastic food at great prices!

The food was good. The cook stacked on the sides. Try the roasted chicken, pork ribs, meat dew, potatoes, maize cheese, green and maize bread. Everything was delicious. You need to support local businesses.

Rasta Pasta with shrimp is better than the Jumbalaya pasta at TGIFridays, the peach cobbler was as good if not better than Thia’s and the greens are some of the best i’ve had anywhere. I’d be broke and fat if i lived closer. Mateo said the fried chicken was amazing and loved the rice and beans. The corn bread was melt in your mouth good.
