T... read more We went up to the window to get ice and noticed there were plenty of employees in the kitchen, but they were extremely slow, even to acknowledge our presence. Two employees made eye contact with me, said nothing, and continued with their tasks. When we were finally served, the ice wasn't very cold at all. I understand that they might be busy, but if someone is looking at them, they could at least acknowledge their presence and say hello or welcome. It would be nice if they informed customers that they would be with them shortly. This lack of customer service seems to reflect the overall attitude of the restaurant. The prices are high for mediocre ice, combined with poor service. It’s a disappointing combination! I won’t be returning. It's worth mentioning that this is the second time I’ve had a bad customer service experience at different locations of this chain. I’m not one to complain excessively; I simply ordered my ice, observed the situation, and noted the overall lackluster experience.

We all... read more We typically enjoy dining at Friendly's, but today we decided to take our grandkids out for ice cream sundaes, which they were really looking forward to. We all ordered large sundaes, and to my surprise, there was barely any ice cream in them. My granddaughter's sundae was filled with a lot of hot fudge sauce and whipped cream, but just a small amount of ice cream. It was very disappointing, to say the least. Our server was very pleasant, but the sundaes were definitely not worth the price we paid—essentially just a bowl of sauce and cream! Next time, we’d be better off making our own sundaes at home. It's just not worth it at Friendly's.

The restaurant was clean and welcoming, just as it should be. The food was as delicious as I remember.
