I’m in Pittsburgh for work this week and Rock ‘n’ Joe’s was the 4th local coffee shop I tried. It was also the only good coffee I’ve gotten! It has unique syrups and the best atmosphere as well. I definitely plan to go again before I head back home View all feedback.

Average cafe. Their smoothies are actually a slushy- no real fruit, sugar syrup only! When we told them we do not consume sugar, and to please give us a smoothie with real fruit, his reply was “This is how we do it here”. Food prepared a day in advance, bagels were stale and chewy! I thought I liked a certain other popular coffee shop with a mermaid logo, but I've recently found them inconsistent and not worth it at all. Luckily, I discovered Rock n Joe's at the other end of the block and figured I'd give them a try. Since then, I've had their iced coffee, lattes, pastries, and sandwiches too--all, YUM!! Everything is well prepared (and pretty too! by their excellent and friendly staff. Oh, and the atmosphere is great; I always get a table upstairs when time allows. I definitely look forward to stopping in for something tasty any time I'm downtown.
Finally a great coffee place in Pittsburgh!! Very smooth and best tasting coffee I ever had! You gotta try this! I hope more open here. Maybe I should get a franchise lol
Little gem downtown. Excellent mocha, super-friendly staff, and half-off pastries late in the day. They play the best music, too!!! And it's not, well, rhymes with larlucks!!! Found my new pre-work coffee shop...
Always great service from helpful staff. Food is very good. And the coffee...lets just say the coffee at Rock n Joes is the star for my bucks! #seewhatididthere
Stopped in just on a whim before seeing the ballet. The coffee was AMAZING and the staff was even better. I got the caramel overload and it was so good!
