Muddy Waters Oyster - Pittsburgh

Ernest mixes the best drinks, and the atmosphere is fantastic. Treat yourself to the delicious food and oysters!

My wife and I occasionally visit this restaurant for the oysters and Cajun dishes. For an appetizer, we ordered a half dozen west coast oysters on the half shell, which never disappoint. My wife chose the DA LIL CHUNKY BURGER and fries, which features two patties, fried green tomato, American cheese, Benton's bacon, a sunny side up egg, chili mayo, iceberg lettuce, and house dill pickles. She described it as fantastic. She also enjoyed a Grapefruit Cosmo and a Pineapple Cosmo, both of which were delightful. I went with the SEAFOOD GUMBO, which includes Gulf shrimp, crawfish, oysters, catfish, Andouille sausage, okra, and white rice. As always, it was exceptional. I paired my meal with a couple of East End Big Hop IPAs. We truly appreciate the staff here; they are wonderful.

Our server and hostess were excellent. The food was amazing, and the atmosphere was a perfect 10 out of 10.

Happy hour oysters were unbeatable anywhere else in the city. Servers were great and knowledgeable about the menu. Our food came out really quickly.
