Went to lunch here with a friend. I normally go to Benihana-my favorite. But we were going to the movies and this place was within walking distance to the theater. The service was pretty good. Very good food with extremely nice people working.. you can't beat their prices with the amount of food they give you. and the food always arrives fast and piping hot. I recommend their egg rolls they are the best I have ever had. their fried rice and lo mein is really good. what I said about their food being really good and the egg rolls being the best I ever had is true but for the price don't expect everything to be the best you ever tasted, you just have to know what to order. for example we got the dumplings from there once and they weren't that great imo.. I am going to get the general TSOs next and I might expect it to be not as crunchy because a lot of Chinese takeout for a great price isn't always crispy but as long as the sauce is made right I will be very happy (some places their general TSOs taste like they put ketchup on it, yuck) but I have no complaints from here only positive experiences, it is the best Chinese food place around my apartment by far and you get the most. the people that rated it low were expecting 5 star Michelin food from a Chinese takeout with huge portions for a great price. you can't beat the lunch special deals! there is no better deal around for the amount of food you get at the price you get. china ichiban will remain in my rotation of food I order.
