Panda Express - Pittsburg
Panda Express
Description
Panda Express in Pittsburg, CA, presents a mixed dining experience. While the location boasts a recent remodel and quick, friendly service, inconsistency in food quality has been noted. Patrons have observed smaller portions and occasional presentation issues, particularly with premium items. Despite these drawbacks, many appreciate the fresh flavors and larger portion sizes of popular dishes like Kung Pao chicken and Beijing beef. The restaurant also benefits from convenient parking, making it a feasible option for takeout amidst a bustling shopping center. Overall, it's a reliable choice for those craving fast, affordable Chinese cuisine.

I really enjoy the larger portion sizes offered at this restaurant. The food is delicious, especially the Kung Pao chicken, fried rice, Beijing beef, and crispy chicken. The delivery is quick, and the food always arrives fresh and hot.
I typically order takeout from this restaurant location. I paid extra for honey walnut shrimp and was disappointed to only receive 4 pieces. The string bean chicken was overcooked, with soggy string beans that were not crunchy like they were when I ordered them two weeks ago. The orange chicken lacked sauce, leading to it not tasting like orange chicken. I will no longer be using Panda DoorDash and will instead go inside to pick up my orders. Additionally, I did not receive any utensils or napkins with my order, which I expected to be included.
The double item plate had very small portions and did not appear to be very fresh. This was a departure from previous experiences and I was extremely disappointed by the presentation of my food.
I hate to even give them 1 star but have to just so I can leave this comment. They are disgusting and terrible food. I dislike all panda not good at all and prefer local Chinese restaurants.
It does get packed at times but always fast fresh food. Good service always kind even dealing with difficult tacky customers. Food is good here as always. Parking is free scarce in front of restaurant but you can find parking in the connecting parking lot. Update: The honey sesame chicken was surprisingly tender and really, really delicious ! I recommend trying it at least once.
