As we turned the corner of the building we stepped right into the outdoor seating area. The menu looked good to us, they weren’t open yet. We continued our walk, came back and they were happy to see us as the first customers of the day. We enjoyed each dish. Started and shared the Pear, pecorino, walnuts and honey that was served warmed so the cheese was melted and the dish stayed warm until we finished. It was so simple yet bursting w/ flavor. My choice for lunch was rabbit cooked in white wine and rosemary. The only thing left on my plate were the bones! Jeff had the Wild boar ragout w/ pasta. It was chunks of wild boar in a light tomato and herb sauce. This place looks little but it is not. There was a large party, a family of a couple generations that came in and had a room to themselves. The food that passed by us on the way to them smelled so good, we wanted to follow the aroma. Service was prompt. No English spoken, we got what we ordered perfectly! Pointing to the menu works well!
Nice restaurant in the old town, very good homemade food, decent prices. Definitely good for a return visit.
