Ekbergs Konditori - Piteaa

Is here during festival week Pite dances and smiles ordered a shrimp sandwich, latte, coke, pepsi and a mazarin. The shrimp sandwich tasted ok and was relatively cheap for being just a shrimp sandwich costing SEK 95. However, the arrangement of the sandwich was wrong so it fell apart while eating it. However, it was fresh The Pepsi was in a 33 cl bottle and cost SEK 30, which is far too expensive The latte was good but not decorative and with the price SEK 50, it doesn 't feel so affordable The mazarine was good and very fresh Boring cafe environment makes it feel expensive and the total cost for the family was SEK 457 for half an hour of coffee

The Pastries at this place is amazing, everything is home made! Very high quality of all the pastries and bread. If this where in a large city the prices would probably be a lot higher.

An old coffehouse with an excellent bakery in the mittle of Piteås shoppingstreet. Built 1923 and still have the old genuin fashion. If you go to Piteå you have to visit Ekbergs if you have 30 minutes for a coffe and some nice cookies or cake on the side.

Looking for a place to kill the sweet tooth we were recommended this place for exceptional cakes . And I admit that there is a fine collection of desserts that should satisfied even more demanding customers but you will not be spoiled for choice, however. We tasted a creamy cake with soft pastry and for once I am glad that it was not overpowered by sugar so you get to enjoy all components. While tasty, it was by no means exceptional. Given the price range one would expect probably something even better but to extinguish cravings for sugar it will do...

One of the oldest coffee place in town. There you have of the traditional swedes fika (coffee, tea, desserts and sandwiches). A little bit pricey and the intiriors feels really old. The staff is polite but they could work faster.
