Restaurang Tage - Piteaa

My last visit to this restaurant left me feeling underwhelmed. The food and service did not meet my expectations given the price. On this occasion, I dined with my sister-in-law to celebrate her belated 40th birthday. I had hoped for a better experience, despite our large table of eight presenting a challenge. The staff started off well, promptly taking our drink orders. My sloe gin mojito was well-made, though lacking in mint. However, things quickly went downhill when our waiter forgot our drink orders and failed to return in a timely manner. The starters arrived before we could order drinks, causing confusion and frustration. While my ox tartar was excellent, other dishes received mixed reviews. The main courses had their own issues, with sinewy meat and overcooked steaks. Dessert was tasty but lacked balance in flavors. Overall, the restaurant fell short of my expectations, lacking in service and making too many mistakes with the food. I am hesitant to return as I have had better experiences elsewhere for the same price. The restaurant's shortcomings are a concern for its future success.

The restaurant offers breathtaking views and serves incredibly delicious food. We enjoyed a dinner meal here, with a price per person of over kr 1,000. The food, service, and atmosphere all received top ratings of 5. We highly recommend trying the Renfile dish.
