We visited Scotty's after hearing great things from a friend. It's truly a classic bar and grill, especially known for its impressive happy hour specials.

I highly recommend Scotty's as an "excellent" restaurant due to its fantastic service and the friendliness of the staff. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance—light and cheerful without being overwhelming. It’s not too quiet, but not too loud either. The food is delicious, and the menu offers a wide variety of tasty options, ensuring there’s something for everyone. They also feature a daily lunch special (and possibly dinner too, though I'm not sure about that). There are several TVs displaying various sports, perfect for passing the time. Not a sports fan? No problem! You can enjoy a newspaper at a table instead. There’s plenty of parking available on the street, even on busy days. This is my go-to spot for lunch; I visit once a week and definitely miss it when I'm away for too long. I suppose I’m a regular, but nobody knows me by name, which I appreciate. Plus, it’s just a short walk from the beach. Check it out! If you’re coming from across Hwy. 101, ask for St. Jude's Tunnel—it’s a fun way to reach the bar.
