three of my family came to Thanksgiving dinner. the service of donna and mary was exceptional. the prefixed dinner was ok. the guacamole and truthahn were delicious. the other dishes of the side, I feel were designed for vegan, vegetarian customers and lack of taste. the pumpkin cake was very good, but the chocolate mousse was blande. the portion sizes were exactly right. Our waitress with the beautiful blue eyes and piercings made this experience magical. She got us chips and Guac, although they're not on the menu, she was right there every time we wanted a refill. She was funny, friendly and super attentive. The food was whatever, but she was great. The Mango Collins was one of the best cocktails I ever had btw.
As a local, we rarely close to the Pismo Pier “in season”. But it was a Friday night and Vespera has parking facilities, so we decided to be tourists in our own city. We enjoyed our appetizer salads. I had the Frisée Citrus Salad, which was refreshed with a slight touch of citrus vinaigrette. My spouse enjoyed the Baja Caesar. Both were generous. A single salad could have been divided. I ordered the Roasted Half Hen with a mouth sauce. It was boiled without dry. The sauce was more tomatoes based and very good, but not the taste I expected on the description. My husband ordered the Wagyu Picanha Steak, which was cooked to order with potatoes and asparagus. The agave glaze was slightly sweet and used to improve the taste of beef instead of exaggerating it. The steak was delicate and properly processed by the cook. After dinner we took our drinks to one of the fire pits on the edge of the property to watch the sunset. Remember, we need to enjoy our pane of paradise more often and soon return to Pequin Coastal Cocina.
Unfortunately, her Easter event was not so advertised. No buffet, and it has no crab as specified on its website. They ran from pastries at 9:30 and our server didn't know the menu. Good luck finding a table away from the broken terrace door, the slams and creeks! A star for the delicious breakfast castle.
Very friendly, attentive and gracious service. Table overlooking the ocean and excellent food. That is a dream package and I hope to return soon!
Food was ok, service was not, food took a long time and the staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Maybe it was soft opening?
