They brought out celeb... read more We had told the restaurant ahead of time that this would be our first dinner on our first vacation in Italy, and they did not disappoint! They brought out celebratory glasses of Prosecco (on the house) and recommended us to share the wild boar pappardelle and the bistecca Fiorentina. Both were absolute delights. The boar was rich and flavorful on a nice al dente pasta, and the steak was massive and perfectly cooked. They capped it off with a send-off of limoncello (also on the house). We couldn’t have hoped for a better welcome dinner in a more inviting and personable place. We felt like pampered guests but also like old friends.

Kids loved their delicious pasta and black burgers, juicy and generous, and we enjoyed rabbit and melanzana. The deserts were well balanced, not overly sweet and succulent. But the main reason we came back to Modus the very next day is their bread. Brown bread that comes as a part of the welcome basket is just out of this world! They make it in house, so unfortunately not for sale, so make sure to enjoy it when there. Lovely friendly staff service with a genuine smile. We were very well looked after, advised on the meals and welcomed back like old friends. Highly recommend!
