The amenities on top of the tram are a bit outdated and can feel basic, especially on hot days. However, the staff was polite, friendly, and helpful, ensuring that an elderly family member was safely in and out of the cars. The tram ride itself is wonderful, offering magnificent views. The river is stunning, and the buildings below are lovely. View all feedback.

While McKeever Lodge in Reno is not the best choice for accommodation, the hallways are left with bare concrete and there is dust in the air. The floors appear nice, but we’ve decided to cut our trip short and skip any further exploration, which is disappointing. View all feedback.

**The Good:** The concept is fantastic! There are more options than at any other park, and the area looks much improved. The bathroom was clean and well-stocked with special soap and shampoo, and the beds were very comfortable. **The Bad:** Renovations are happening all over, and while I’m sure it will be amazing and worth the price once completed, the current state is frustrating. I'm concerned that people might hesitate to stay and pay the current rates. The accommodations were small, and our room had an unpleasant floury scent. Additionally, many desirable amenities were either not available, cost extra, or were only offered at specific times. Given these issues, the price should be at least half of what it is now. We ended up checking out early on our second night. I'm disappointed that the state parks are aiming to impress visitors with these conditions. I hope they will turn things around, and we plan to give this lodge another chance in a year or so.

Came to spend three days out of florida. we stay in the mountain hut. the way down the mountain is beautiful. the scenery is a top note. room is dated, but clean. could use a cleaning on the terrace. eating is not perfect, but it is edible. here we go to the hill! coffee at 9 o'clock. in the terrace. the birds chipmunks in the grass. then came a traktor mower? on the day of the father? this should be a quiet place. leaf blowers and the mowers should be here on Monday, if most people are not! that is unacceptable.
Our stay at Pipestem Resort was much better than we imagined. Breakfast at McKeever Lodge was just what we needed to start our day. Our cabin met all our needs as it was nicely nested in the woods. The team at the Zip line was remarkable. As Santana lead his newly trained crew of Nathan and Stephanie. We enjoyed every moment of all nine zip line rides over the four hour duration. We even participated in a recuse of one of the guests it was nothing serious Nathan was able to use all his training to lead us in pulling a guest and Santana across the line to safety. They never once panic. There are so many safety features, one can only give an A rating for all they put in place, from the designers of the landing and trails, the equipment, and the staff. Also the e bikes were great, the Axe throw was cool, skeet shooting was awesome with some special training on the 12 gauge, laser tag, mini golf, remote control drones, all added to a wonderful two days of relaxation in the peaceful setting in West Virginia. We recommend everyone to visit this wonderland.
