When it comes to dining at Hinton Kirk's, the best choice for a culinary experience. I enjoyed everything I tried except for the hot dog. I had heard great things about it, but I believe Dairy Queen has better hot dogs. The server misplaced our order ticket, causing us to wait for 30 minutes before she noticed. She was apologetic about the error. However, when our food finally arrived, it was mediocre at best and nothing that couldn't easily be replicated at home. The quality of the food did not justify the high price we paid. Kirks is one of our favorite places to eat. Great food and you can sit on the patio over river in warm weather. Try this place...you won't be sorry.
Food didn't have much of a taste. Food was dropped off at the table, and no one ever came back by
Wendy and I needed to get outside on New Years day, so we headed out to Sandstone falls in Hinton. We then came by Kirk's and went inside to check it out. They were surprisingly busy considering it was New Year's day. The service was great and the wait staff was cheery, attentive and personable. Kirk's will definitely be on our list for lunch next time we get out to Hinton.

Home like atmosphere with very nice food and large portions. Wonderful view of the river. If you love seeing wild life while you eat this is a great place to visit. We saw several ducks and 2 bald eagles.
