We had a three course menu for for Cors... read more We went there on a Friday night for dinner. Upon our arrival we were treated very friendly, kind and well taken care of. We had a three course menu for for Corsica a reasonable price. The food was tasty and well prepared ..to us it did not make the impression of a tourist trap more as a country side , authentic restaurant that is eager to source and serve good quality local products. Overall the location is inviting and honest. The food is of good quality, tasty and freshly well prepared. A nice evening we will remember. We would certainly come again and recommend the place.

We were not disa... read more Our out of date guide book recommended this restaurant, and with positive reviews on TA we decided to try it on a tour of this area of Corsica. We were not disappointed, choosing the menu Corse we were presented with a platter starters, followed by...a platter of main dishes, chees, and then a choice of desserts. All were excellent, and this way of serving allowed us to pick and choose as we wanted. I have to say, however, that we did leave some food uneaten as we were stuffed!

The menu, written on a portable blackboard, consisted of mostly Corsican local produce, our waiter was extremely welcoming and friendly and efficient and...the food was excellent and plentiful the plat du jour actually defeating a healthy appetite. The terrace was a lovely place to eat under the shade of the chestnut trees.

We have been many times since and returned recently to find that the food and location are still special. Great play area for kids and no sense of rush, a...perfect place to relax. Corsican beignet au brocciu still a house speciality and wonderful. After lunch drive up to the end of the road along the Tartagine and go paddling in the crystal mountain stream waters.
