Description

Roasters & Toasters is a popular breakfast and deli-style spot celebrated for fresh bagels, challah Nutella French toast, omelettes, turkey clubs and matzo ball soup, plus warm, attentive service. Regulars praise generous portions and standout morning dishes, but guests also report inconsistent food quality — cold or overcooked eggs, chewy meats, burned toast — and occasional spoiled delivery. Prices trend high, so experiences vary by visit and ordering method.

I had my first Eggs Benedict here, and it was fantastic! The French toast was also spot on—not too heavy or overwhelming. The staff was friendly, and the diner has a relaxed atmosphere with convenient parking.

My husband and I frequently visit this restaurant for breakfast. The food and service are excellent! He usually opts for a full stack of Nutella French toast, while I enjoy the power breakfast—it's delicious. The staff is always incredibly friendly.

When we walked in, the restaurant was a bit empty, so I expected to be seated quickly. Unfortunately, we were left waiting at the front for several minutes until someone finally came and told us we could sit anywhere. A sign indicating this would have been helpful. After being seated, it took another 10 minutes to place our orders. I ordered eggs benedict, and the ham was so dry that it was difficult to chew. While some of the sandwiches our group ordered received positive feedback, the pastrami sandwich was incredibly chewy due to excess fat, which felt intentional to make you pay extra for leaner portions. We ended up spending a lot on meals we could have found elsewhere, and that’s before adding the cost of sides. Although Roaster's has always been on the pricier side, you typically got what you paid for. Unfortunately, that’s not the case at this location.

The Mexican Scramble was fantastic! The home fries were delicious, and the bagel was tasty.

While definitely on the pricey side, the make-your-own omelet option is fantastic.
