Two of our party o... read more Do not order anything seafood unless you want something rancid that will give you food poisoning. Also, don't expect to get what you ordered. Two of our party ordered chalupas and got vegetarian tostadas instead. Unfortunately this was takeout. It's pretty clear why they changed their name to 1800.

I was a little nervous visiting for the first time, especially when the place was mostly empty (in fairness it was Tuesday afternoon). However the ample menu was clearly written for Gringo's like me, with pictures and good descriptions of everything. I ordered a Burrito California and it was huge, hot and well mixed with steak, shrimp, veggies and beans...covered in a light cream based sauce. For me it was the perfect combination of flavor/spice with having to worry about being up all night reaching for Tums. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
